9/25/2023 In October, we...Do PINK!!!That's right, folks!
Too many of us have been affected by cancer. It's a 6-letter word that strikes fear and terror. So FLFA is joining the fight to find a cure! We are kicking October off with a crusade to raise money for research, providing wigs, warm hats, care packages, anything to help spread the HOPE! We also invite all of our athletes, families, and fans to dress in PINK on Saturday, September 30th and on Sunday, October 15th. Let's fill our field with a sea of PINK in honor of this month and all of the warriors, caregivers, families, and loved ones affected by Breast Cancer! Beginning on September 30th, we will be selling custom PINK ribbons that will hang on our fence for the duration of the month. The minimum donation we are asking for is $5 per ribbon. You can definitely donate more or purchase more custom ribbons! Last year, we were able to donate $500 to a major local hospital. Let's see if we can top that donation! Order your ribbons at our home games and select practices during the month. Or you can purchase them here: 9/20/2023 Week 3 Games ScheduleSaturday, 9/23/23:

Specifically, Breast Cancer. We would be hard pressed to find someone that cancer has not touched. With each passing year, we have raised more money to help sponsor a local hospital. Last year, we were able to donate $500 to Valley Hospital. This year, we are looking to write a bigger check! We cannot do it without YOU! Please consider purchasing a Pink Ribbon, for a $5 donation, that can be personalized with a message of your choosing. If each FLFA athlete purchases 1 pink ribbon, writes 1 special message on it, and hangs it on the fence, we would be able to donate $1500 to a worthy organization. That’s 3 times the amount of last year’s donation! Our FLFA Tackles Breast Cancer Committee will begin selling custom ribbons on Monday, September 18th! Please use the order form at the bottom of this post (a pdf file) if you want to use cash or check OR go to http://flfatacklesbreastcancer2023.cheddarup.com (to donate via credit card). They will be selling Pink Ribbons through October! Cash or check is being accepted! Our Pink Out dates are Saturday, September 30th and Sunday October 15th! Those are the dates that we are looking to celebrate our warriors and caregivers, and comfort and recognize the ones taken too soon. Wear all of the pink you can find! ![]()

Welcome to Week 3 and Pep Rally Week! We are definitely sliding into the heart of the 2023 Season! With 5 more weeks left before the end! What does this means?? It means that all of our FLFA families have only 5 more opportunities to finish up their 6 hours of service (2 hours, if you are a strictly Flag Family). We definitely need more volunteers for our Game Day Committee! You can sign up for chains or field security (with a nifty vest!)! Congratulations to the families done with their volunteer service obligation! We thank you for your time and commitment!!! Pep Rally: Pep Rally will be held on Friday, September 22nd.
